  1. Columbia University Students Reject A Two-Campus Solution [...] Students continued to gather in large groups and chant threatening anti-Israel phrases as school leaders and other experts searched for potential ways to solve the crisis. A representative of the university's "Gaza Solidarity Encampment" said there would be no peaceful two-campus solution agreement. "We will not tolerate the existence of Jewish people on campus," said Darren Polk on behalf of the protesting students inside the encampment. "People keep trying to come up with ‘peaceful ways' to end this conflict, but there's only one way we envision this coming to a conclusion, which is all the Jews being dead." "Also, America. America should be dead too." [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/columbia-university-students-reject-a-two-campus-solution
  2. NYC Man Convicted Over Gunsmithing Hobby After Judge Says 2nd Amendment 'Doesn't Exist in This Courtroom' A Brooklyn man has been convicted of 13 weapons charges after having been arrested and charged in 2022 for building his own firearms. Dexter Taylor's ordeal could become a landmark Second Amendment case in light of the Bruen ruling handed down in the same year. The jury found Taylor guilty of second-degree criminal possession of a loaded weapon, four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, five counts of criminal possession of a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of five or more firearms, unlawful possession of pistol ammunition, violation of certificate of registration, prohibition on unfinished frames or receivers. Two lesser charges, including third-degree criminal possession of three or more firearms and third-degree possession of a weapon, were not voted on. Taylor, a 52-year-old New York native and a software engineer, discovered the world of gunsmithing years ago. He decided to take it up as a hobby and possibly turn it into a business later. However, when a joint ATF/NYPD task force discovered he was legally buying parts from various companies, they opened up an investigation that led to a SWAT raid and arrest. 3. Notice that these riots are occurring almost exclusively in "blue" states? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chaotic Scene As NYPD Descends Upon NYU in Riot Gear, Arrests Dozens of Pro-Hamas Extremists It's another night in New York City, and these days, that means it's another evening of radical pro-Hamas protesters taking over the campuses of once-proud institutions like Columbia University and NYU. Although folks like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) will try to tell you that the demonstrations are oh-so-peaceful, and President Joe Biden will try to claim that there are good people on both sides of the issue, the truth of the matter is that many of these activists are loudly pledging their allegiance to Hamas terrorism, condemning America, and shouting their hatred of Jews. 4. Jonathan Turley Decimates the 'Hush Money' Case Against Trump The hush money case against former President Donald Trump got underway with opening statements on Monday and the first witness in the case. George Washington law school professor and Fox contributor Jonathan Turley said that the case has left him in "utter disbelief" that they've pursued this case against Trump. He noted some of the problems with the case. [...] https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2024/04/22/jonathan-turley-decimates-the-hush-money-case-against-trump-n2173172

  6. Now It's UCLA Med School That Has a Plagiarism Scandal DEI = Didn't Earn It. Whoever came up with that deserves to be memorialized in the Oxford English Dictionary. The past few months have made to clear to all who can admit it that DEI is just a new term for racial discrimination and that this racial discrimination requires hiring the incompetent in order to fill ideologically motivated quotas. The latest example of this is the case of UCLA Medical School's DEI director, who is tasked with teaching its medical students to "do what's right." The right thing to do, apparently, is steal from more competent people to get ahead. [...] https://hotair.com/david-strom/2024/04/22/now-its-ucla-med-school-that-has-a-plagiarism-scandal-n3786986
  7. Depending on your consulate (nothing in your post history thus indicates, nor do you have a timeline), you can add "front-loading" material along with satisfying the eventual RFE. This material would further establish the bona fide nature of your relationship. You would put the RFE page on top, the material that satisfies it just below, add a page that says "Extra material for benefit of the consulate," and the extra material. If you won't be dealing with a tough consulate, you can minimize the extra material.

  10. A howl of rage against civilisation Hands down the worst take on the 'Gaza Solidarity Encampment' that has taken over Columbia University in New York City for the past week is that students have always done things like this. Students have forever occupied buildings and quads to make a political point. Students have long agitated against war. Students often find themselves in the grip of passionate radical intensity. Look at the Vietnam era, says every columnist in Christendom, as if the Gaza camp were just another explosion of youthful anti-imperialism. The wilful naivety of this take is unforgivable at this point. To liken Columbia's strange, seething 'pro-Palestine' camp to earlier campus uprisings against militarism is to gloss over what is new here. It is to whitewash the profoundly unsettling nature of this rage of the privileged against the world's only Jewish nation. Until someone can point me to instances of those Sixties anti-war kids hurling racist invective at minority groups and demanding the wholesale destruction of a small state overseas, [...] https://www.spiked-online.com/2024/04/22/a-howl-of-rage-against-civilisation/
  11. VDH explains Bidementia's foreign policy in a way that makes complete sense. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ War By Affirmative Action? Why does Biden play Iranian poker with American and Israeli lives? Answer? He envisions war sort of like affirmative action, in which the less accomplished belligerent is allowed all sorts of concessions for the sake of equity. Israeli and American military capability, and particularly their missile defenses, are seen as unfair, almost like high achievers' top SAT scores that are seen as unearned and used to privilege some over others and therefore must be countered or dropped. Given Iran's and its surrogates' incompetence, the administration, then, must extend the theocracy some allowances "to level the playing field." Biden does not believe in an equality of opportunity in war, when an aggressor does its best to attack or indeed destroy a defender, who in turn does its own best to retaliate and achieve victory. 14. TSA has probably seen hundreds of similar passengers. If you can get a doctor's letter, you should, but you may not need to show it.
  15. 1. Do you have screws or pins in your wrist? Consider taking a letter from your doctor's office. 2. Yes.
