  1. that is what i did, i was going crazy reviewing the first I-864 i submitted and downloading the form again to compare them both, total of 10 pages
  2. I have a question regarding my mother in law documents which are at the NVC stage i submitted all her civil documents which were all accepted but on the affidavit form I-864 we received a message from NVC stating we needed to resubmit a new I-864 including all pages even if they were blank I think they are confused in regards to this because if you go to uscis website and download form I-864 it contains only 10 pages and all of them were included when i uploaded the form to NVC. I just resubmitted the same form as i did at the beginning. I dont know if previous editions of the form contained 12 pages, but the latest one from USCIS contains only 10 pages.
  3. No offense taken, this forum was crucial when i petitioned my wife on a fiancee visa. still not clear with Boiler's answer " separate petitions, adjust away" Did he mean two I-485 or two I-130 Still appreciate the effort to help.
  4. so, they need to fill out two I-485 one for her and one for her daughter ?
  5. Hello everyone, I have a friend who came legally on a tourist visa and then applied to some protected status under Trump's administration for Venezuelans. She met a citizen and they just got married. She also has a minor daughter from a previous relationship back in her country. In this scenario will her husband need to file form I-130 for her and the minor, or they can just jump directly to form I-485 ? Also if they can just jump directly to form I-485 will they need to file a separte form for her minor daughter? Or can the minor be included in her I-485 ? thank you in advanced for the help and support.
  6. born to married parents outside the USA, became a citizen through naturalization and now petitioning for my Mother which is residing abroad.
  7. Hello, i am filling out form I-130 to petition my mother who is residing outside of USA I need to know which box to check on question two, since it does not mention anything about parents, just Child. thank you in advance
  8. Thank you Abies for the reply, i thought the same officer who did the N-400 interview was going to adjudicate the I-751 before proceeding with the N-400 that is where the confusion comes from. We got a notification by mail that her I-751 was transferred to NBC
  9. Hello everyone, something strange happened to my wife's status. She had her N-400 interview a couple of days ago, she passed the test, and the officer told her to wait her mail notification for the ceremony. We just got an update on her removal of condition I-751 today. It says the case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction. What seems weird is the officer did not ask about her I-751 case, did not even mentioned it, she just went ahead with the naturalization test and interview. As far as i know they can not adjudicate naturalization before closing the removal of conditions on her residence. Did somebody go through the same experience?
  10. Ok an update, my wife had here N-400 interview yesterday, she passed it and the officer told her she should expect a notice in the mail for the ceremony date. She just got an email today pertaining to her removal of conditions, the noticed said they transfer her case to another office for processing. This is very confusing since she already had her N-400 interview, and the interviewing officer did not mention her I-751 . Anyways we will wait a few days and see if there is any other update on her case.
  11. I will need to find out if scanned copy will be accepted. About the sole custody, Venezuela is a very complicated country, he had to sign a document authorizing the girl to travel with her mom, but they did not have a formal document for permanent travel ( like a K2 visa) they did not even know about a K2 visa, she had to go to the airport and talk to an immigration officer so he could call back the lady from the office who issues the travel permit to explain to her the procedure. I will need to check what does the form says, but i doubt it states anything about permanent travel to the USA. Of course he was aware and gave his permission to bring the girl to USA. Either way i do not think it will be such a hassle since we keep in touch with him.
