    JR and I met online in November 2003. In January 2004 I flew to the States to visit him for 4 weeks. Ever since we visited forth and back in Germany and the United States. On October 8, 2005, he asked me to marry him!! :-)) It took a while, but in January 2006 I got a beautiful ring and a couple weeks later, in February, we filed the I-129F.
    I got my visa and after a very nice wedding ceremony in Germany I went with him to the US, did all the legal stuff and been happily married ever since.
    In October 2008 we welcomed our son Quentis.

    I don’t know why my case was in quality review. I guess it just happens sometimes. However, there was an issue with my photo not being on file and I had to have it taken again. Maybe that triggered it. I did change my name, yes.

    I had my Oath Ceremony today in Honolulu! since I changed my name, I needed to appear in front of a judge. We were a group of 41 this morning and it was a really nice ceremony. It feels a bit surreal but I’m happy it’s over!
