We first began our relationship a month after I came to Nicaragua (12/31/2013) and getting to know each other. After our friendship had become a relationship, I stayed and lived with Edwin (Beneficiary) alternating between his family house in Esteli, Nicaragua and his then currently rented home in Granada, Nicaragua. I left for Costa Rica to fly home (flights are cheaper from CR to minneapolis) on 5/20/2014. During our time apart we stayed in contact via Facebook chats, and very long Skype calls. I went back to Nicaragua to see edwin and live with him and his family on 9/22/2014. I had announced to my family back home I fell in love with a man in Nicaragua. Only meeting each other through skype, my father (and my great-uncle) made the journey to Nicaragua (11/15/2014 - 11/25/2014) to meet Edwin in person, since my father knew we were getting very serious. On my birthday Edwin proposed (12/22/2014) and I said yes! After I left again (1/7/2015) we keep in contact more through facebook and facebook video chat since I have gotten a new computer.
