We met online late summer 2009 and by November we were dying to meet. We didn't officially start dating until after we met. Actually he didn't ask me to be with him until the day he left, December first. He liked me so much he came back in February. He surprised me by arriving four days earlier than I thought he was. Then it was my turn to cross the pond and I went there for my senior year spring break. I actually took like a week extra of spring break, but hey I still graduated with honors. We've been together since that December and have visited each other a lot. This last summer he surprised me with a trip to Paris during my six week stay with him. Our two year anniversary was this past December 1st, 2011. I thought we were spending it apart, but he organized with my friends and my sister and showed up at my dorm door. He proposed on our two year anniversary and of course I said yes. We had been talking a lot about marriage and I knew it was coming I just didn't know when. I couldn't be happier.
