Made three trips to the PRC to visit my future wife, and to become
better acquainted with China and its ancient culture. And to observe
first-hand the dichotomy that is now modern-day China.
After a successful visa interview at the US consulate in 广州,
my then-fiancee and her son arrived in Seattle a month later.
We were married in Seattle four days later, since then
we have been learning, loving and living
our American dream.
Both of them are now LPRs, in college,
working hard to make this land their home.
