Ok, so I think these might be ok. Of course, I thought the last set was blush.gif Is this what they are going to need to see? And does it look like we should prepare a waiver or is it still hard to tell?

IR-1 Visa

8-14-2007 Mailed in husband's I-130 to Consulate in Toronto
8-15-2007 Toronto received I-130
8-27-2007 Toronto called to set up I-130 appointment
8-31-2007 Interview at Consulate Approved
9-25-2007 Received Packet 3 in mail
12-9-2007 Received police record (fingerprint version)
1-18-2008 Sent packet 3 back
2-26-2008 heard back from Montreal via email about our interview date
4-23-2008 Montreal Interview!!! Visa APPROVED!!

It seems like you shouldn't need a waiver, though I guess it's kind of subjective. Check out page 6 of this document, it seems that you would have had to have intent to "harm" instead of simple assault.

emt-It is actually the the issuing threats that we are a little concerned about, not so much the assault. We are just having the hardest time figuring this thing out. wacko.gif

I know how you feel^^ I was nervous for a long time too because I had a few charges one of them theft, BUT here I sit in Maryland on a K1.

Things will work out.
