Recently filed 601 and 212 waiver apps with sydney consul
they have been sent to bangkok
anybody had any experience with this? wife and I are keen to get some idea on processing times and wether a letter from a us congressman requesting expedite helps or not...

An official request for an expedite from a congressman might help - if you can prove extreme medical emergency of the US or something similar.
Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

hope so
put together a strong package letters from my wifes doctors her original diagnosis letters from family ,friends and employers
we have maybe 2-3 level 1
very strong level2
and a long history dealing with uscis
we dont doubt approval,just wanna get an idea on timeframes
