Hi does anybody here have an experience going through abu dhabi as POE going to the US. If my flight departs at 1000hrs what time should I be there?

What are the procedures I need to do upon arrival to the airport? Should I check my bag in straight or should I go first to the CBP.

Any input is greatly appreciated :)

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Canada
Timeline

check available flights online - it will tell you arrival times.

in any airport, you check your bags, go through security, then deal with CBP. If the airport does not have US CBP on site and you will do it in the US, you get off the plane, deal with CBP, then get your bags.

Abu Dhabi has pre-clearance. You check in first, then go through pre-clearance. You should always allow at least three hours for an international flight. So aim to be there at 7 at the latest. Check the airport website for any airport-specific instructions.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
