POE different than DS 260 intend to live in US Address

my parents having visa interview on 24th September at Mumbai (India) consulate for f3 category.

now they are planning to go at Tampa,Florida  as their first entry in to USA.

but we wrote intend to live address in DS 260 form is of Pennsylvania.

is it necessary to go first at DS 260 intend to live address or they can go tampa,florida (other than intend to live address) ????

Do not worry about a thing.

Many people enter at their POE and travel to where they will live.

This is not new, and it happens all the time.

so is it okey we mentioned in ds 260 Pennsylvania address but they are going at tampa..

so flight will be from india to boston and boston to tampa???

any issue they will face at port of entry???

Yes, this happens all the time.  In general the CBP at POE won’t even ask about intended residential address.  Is Tampa now their permanent intended address, or is this just a side trip and they will eventually make it to Pennsylvania?  If Pennsylvania is still the eventual intended address and CBP asks them about it then they can answer truthfully.

 

BTW, Boston would be their POE, not Tampa.

tampa will be their permanent address..but we mentioned in ds 260 Pennsylvania address..

In that case, if asked at the POE, have them amend the record, and of course once they get here submit a change of address to USCIS.  It certainly won't be the first time CBP has someone with a different address than what was on the DS260.

The only issue is where the green card will be sent. If it’s different to the address on the DS260 they need to update it at the airport. Other than that no problems, a green card entitles you to live anywhere in the US you want and people change their minds all the time.

 

we entered in SFO with a NY address and the only question about it was “do you still want your green cards sent there or do you need to change it?”
