Travelling outside of the US after filing for N400

Is there any particular protocol I need to follow or any way I need to "let the USCIS" know about any short travel outside of the US AFTER I have filed for citizenship?

I ask because the forms ask me to list any and all travel outside of the US. I filed electronically as well.

I may need to make a trip in to Canada for a couple of days so I don't know whether that's something I absolutely can't do or whether I have to let them know in a particular way? - I filed electronically so I didn't know if that changed things as well

Just a quick addendum - I'm making this post because the most recent thing I can find in search appears to be both before the electronic filing, and before forms were updated. I'm asking to ensure this hasn't changed any

I know of nothing which states that you can not travel after filing for citizenship.........enjoy your trip.

As others have said, the IO will ask you to update any international travel between the time of filing and the time of the interview, so keep track of it and disclose it then.

I did the exact same thing. Filed my N-400 and traveled to Canada for a week a month later.

At interview, you walk through your N-400 with the IO. Just tell him you have to add a few things to your application. You just need the dates of when you left the US and when you came back.
