For the Form I-134  Affidavit Of Support where do I submit that at?  Do I just give all the information to my fiancee and she brings it to the interview with her?

The Embassy letter states:

 

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

 

Gather the supporting documents and the I-134 and send to the PI. Best to send either DHL or FedEx. Don't send it via USPS! It will not arrive in time for the interview if it even arrives. Can't trust PhilPost.

Yes, she brings that with her to the interview. Just last week I joined my fiancee in South Korea where I gave her all my paperwork. The embassy sorted thru it and kept specific things such as the I-134.

 

And yes, these things Greenbaum stated. They took these items as well.

Send it to your Fiancee, along with a copy of your most recent tax return and W2.   She will bring it to the interview with her.

 

Only the I-134 is required to be an original, but don't send it by mail.  Use UPS/FEDEX/DHL.      FEDEX is 2GO in the Phils.    (you can email  copies of the tax return and W2 if you like)

Ok thanks everyone for your replies.  Since I am planning on attending the interview with her in person I should just be able to bring all this information with me when I come I think.  Thanks again very helpful as always.

I have another questions about filling out this form.

 

For Part 3 number 6 it says, "Market value of my stocks and bonds"  is this referring to my 401K retirement plan or any individual stocks/bonds I may own?

 

Also, on Part 3 on number 7a it says, "I have Life insurance in the sum of"  Does this include the life insurance I get through my employer for free?

Nothing is of importance except the GROSS INCOME info .. the I-134 and your most recent tax return and W2  (this form is used for other visa types   )

 

Ignore the rest.

Ok thanks.  So for the supporting evidence it says, "

A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details
regarding the account:
(1) Date account opened;
(2) Total amount deposited for the past year; and
(3) Present balance."

 

Do I just contact the bank for the information or is just having a recent bank statement good enough?

I-134 with GROSS INCOME info, most recent tax return and W2 ..... that is it.

So if I bring a bank statement showing how much money I have in my saving accounts is it okay if my moms name is on the account with me?  She is a joint owner of the account although all the money is mine.  Thanks.

Embassy isn't interested in bank statements unless you derive interest that you are claiming as income.

 

Embassy wants to see your most recent tax return and W2 along with an original I-134 signed showing 125% of the poverty guideline
