Gathering documents before embassy interview

So the NVC has given us the interview date now which is way sooner than I was expecting!

But I'm confused on the things I'm superposed to bring. The P4 says "You must bring to the interview original versions of all civil documents and certificates submitted to NVC. You may need to get updated financial documents and police certificates."

and on here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare/required-documents.html

It says family based applicants have to bring the I-184 Affidavit of Support.

Obviously we already submitted the Affidavit to the NVC, is this telling us that we have to basically create the whole thing again? Why do they need it twice? Do I have to get my wife's and co-sponor's income evidence too?

Or am I reading this wrong and all I need to bring is like, my birth certificate and passport etc?

Any help would be appreciated

I took copies of the I-864, my wife's tax return and W2's, however they didn't ask for them. That doesn't mean to say that they won't ask for yours.

I copied everything before I submitted any of my documents to NVC.

Did you send an original I-864 to NVC? Then it will be at your interview. You don't need another.

Supposedly you sent the rest of your documents as photocopies to NVC. Bring the originals of those to show at the interview.
