[i-134] Have anyone had success by only meeting the 100% HHS PG

I know beforehand that for the K1 (i-134) we still should consider the 125% of Poverty Guidelines, more because later on they expect us to do AOS. But have anyone had success by just meeting the 100% or more?

Unless you’re active duty military it will be 125%.

When I went for my interview I made sure they confirmed this - 125% unless you're military personnel.

 

 

If you're not quite there (or even if you barely hit 125%), you should probably get a co-sponsor.

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering because every now and then I find people talking about the 100% being as a minimum for the i-134, I have been unable to find a official source about it. We do have a co-sponsor that meets the 125% I was wondering in case we simply didn't need to use one at all.

 

 

Does the in information and obligations of the i-134 co-sponsor gets replaced by the i-864 sponsor when we file for AOS? Or both (if different persons) get the same obligations?

in my case they didn't ask for financial support , but I took it with me just in case
