Anyone here from the category F3 and F4 as I need to know if these categories too take much time in Ap as they already reach there after 13 to 15 years 😐😐

Depends on the reason for AP. Most AP lasts days, some are weeks, rarely it's months, and very rarely it's years.

Is there a known reason for the case being in AP? How long has it been pending in AP status? Did the CO indicate any missing documents at the interview, or provide a 221(g) letter?

Everything went well in the interview at 7th Feb 2018 but in the end he pointed at my under cspa kid that he will get ds5535 via email, reply instantly and after this he gave 221g marked with administrative process

Ok, got it. Thanks for the clarification.

There's no fixed timeline for somebody who needs to submit a DS-5535, but generally it is at least a few months for security checks to go through.

Note that the past waiting for the PD to become current has no impact on AP. It takes as long as it takes for AP to complete.

Thanks but that's what I already knew and was in that thread since then.. My question was for those most awaited categories, you may take it like does it make any difference what your category is and how long you waited already..

No, the past wait or category won't matter in any way.

But I don't see such category waiting in Ap long as the visa issuing ratio is also more than others.. Anyways thanks you may delete the thread

The time a case spends in AP has got nothing at all to do with the wait for a priority date to become current. The AP process starts after the interview and the time it takes depends on the reason for the particular person being in AP,  no matter how long it took to get to interview stage. DS5535 is a security related AP and can take months - someone already referred to the dedicated thread to that.
