don't get frustrated! that's what happens to all of us....

aren't there some free classes that she can take?

I know we don't have them here where I am, but when I used to live in Los Angeles, there were a gazillion classes for people that

could just show up whenever they could and they also paid only what they were able to pay.

Not sure what the classes were called or so, as I never took them, but I remember they exist.

you know how that goes, when people get theirs and you are just there sitting and waiting for that to get to you to.

Hi everyone! My fiancee will be arriving in the US soon under the K1 visa. For the AoS packet, I read we need a DS3025? How do we get this? Is it in the medical exam packet my fiancee got and took with her to the interview and will she get it back when she arrives in the US?

The DS-3025 is in the packet your fiancee will hand over to the CBP officer at the POE, and from there they send it over to USCIS. Some countries you will be given a copy of the DS-3025 but it's pretty much useless as it's a copy and not official. So no, you don't need one.

K1 Filed – 05/07/17

K1 NOA1 – N0A2 – 02/06/2018 (211 days)

K1 Interview – 04/11/18 – Approved

Visa in Hand – 05/03/18

POE – LAX – 05/16/2018

Married – 06/11/2018

AOS Filed – 06/18/2018

It's like the former poster said, not required. I attached a copy of the vaccinations just because the I-693 instructions said something along the lines of "If you are K1 and had medical overseas you do not need to have another medical exam... However you still need to show you fulfilled the vaccination requirements". I think that's where the attaching of the DS-3025 comes from, to serve as a reminder that the applicant did in fact fulfil the requirements -  but they should have your full medical report on file since that is the only thing that actually counts (if they don't have it, you need to redo the full medical regardless of having attached a copy of the DS-3025 or not )

Hello, trying to join the AOS June 2018 filers Lol, please could someone help me with this:

Filling out the I-485 form and we came across this question, "What is your current immigration status (if it has changed since your arrival?". At first I put "K1" but we are not married, please how should we answer this question?

Also, for the Advance Parole, do we have to attach a separate sheet of paper, explaining how I qualify for an Advance Parole Document . Part 7 page 4 on the I-131 Form.

Thank you :)

Welcome!

1. See the link, it's an example I-485 form and very helpful http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-485.pdf

2. Read the sentence bottom of page 2 of the I-131 :) It says if you're not DACA, skip to part 7. I still filled out all of part 3.

Yes, I got the three NOA a few days ago.  I did the credit card option and they charged my card within a day of receiving it.
