Hello everyone

My fiance (us citizen)  and i going to start to fill I-129F  form for K-1 visa process, but there is have 2 thing confusing me alot.my fiance thinking like we have to write 2 difference letter about how we met and i think she is wrong,we just need 1 letter and both have to sign it.Second problem is on my country Turkey, your employer have to make your health insurance but i am working without insurance because there is no have choice for me.Employer not making it.So offically i am not working on paperworks, on I-129F part 2-16 Beneficiary's Employment History i cannot fill it as i am working because if consular request any paper about that i cannot give it.Is that can be a big problem for our process ? because we gonna fill it as i am unemployed. (working there more than 6 year)

PS  my english is so bad, sorry.

Most people prepare two separate letters of intent and sign accordingly

YMMV

I know we have to write 2 separate letter about intent to marry,my question is about how we met letter

I did not write a "How we met letter.  I provided a couple of sentences in the space provided.  You let the evidence of meeting support those statements

YMMV

Like above, you can just write a few sentences, or just use attachment page and write like a paragraph, either way is fine. For ours I only signed the "How we met" attachment. Had no issues.

As to your employment, really they don't care about the beneficiaries employment that much so they won't ask you for any "proof" or anything so you can fill it out properly. Never give false information on any documents.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

We BOTH did a short letter of intent to marry letter and a How we met letter. Both signed in ink.

I'd rather be safe than sorry. I make my living as a writer, it's no big deal to crank out a few paragraphs lol

I submitted my fiances employment history on the i-129f and his resume. Not really needed, but again, I'd rather send more than they need or want than not enough. But that's the OCD in me lolol

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

My fiance and I prepared one letter.  He signed and dated and mailed to me.  I then signed and dated and included in the I-129f application.

You don't need one.

The i-129F form requests proof of your "in person meeting" because to qualify for the petition to be approved, you must show you've met in person within 2 years of submitting the petition.  USCIS do not need to know or care about the small details about how a couple initially met/started dating. (as long as it wasn't through an international marriage broker that is)
