I’m worried about my case, my husband divorced his previous wife in November of 2016 we then got married in January of 2017. I’m scared that at the interview they will think something is going on since he got married to soon. His ex wife and him married in 2014 and after a month of marriage she moved out of the county and asked for a divorce.  How likely will this getting married to soon have a negative effect on my case.

as long the divorce was final, should not be a problem ,

they might  asked a bunch of question to make sure that the marrige is bonafide! ( in good faith)

Yes! I figured they will ask lots of questions. And he will be here alone and he is always a nervous wreck I’m hoping and praying everything goes well.

The time it take to re marry after divorce is not relevant. What is important is to have evidence that you were in a relationship while the divorce was  going on. I married my wife 3 days after she was divorce, However, her EX-Husband refused to sign the divorce documents  and he was no were to be trace, my wife ended up doing a publication on the newspaper.  After the publications and the failure of the man to respond, the judge approved the divorce. In fact   on the divorce decree, on my judge and my wife signed, the portion for the EX is empty.

In short her Ex- left in October 2016 and the divorce was granted in February, 2018.

All you need is evidence that we lived together, the evidence can be  joint lease agreement  and pictures.

In the DR, the women has to wait to remarry, unless she is marrying the same man. As far as i understand there is no waiting period for the man
