when you fill out the ds160 theres an option on there to pick up the visa or have it mailed. when you go for a k1 interview can you choose to pick up your passport or its automacially mailed to you?

Suppose it could vary on the embassy, but for us they asked again whether or not we wanted to personally pick it up or have it mailed. So I'm guessing they will reconfirm what option you want at the interview.

You have the option to pick it up in one of the embassy locations in Brazil. That was my option. Everything will be presented to you during the CASV appointment.
