P.S: To all new folks here, if you don't share the whole ###### story and fill the timeline. No one can help you with the right information.

Ali12345, first of all, you didn't write the detailed post and now you are not giving info. No one can help you without info.

Why was your visa denied? What was the reason?

Where are you from?

How long have you been married?

Is there age gap? If so who is older?

How did you meet?

Are you folks from same religion?

How long after your meeting you got married? How many times did she visit you?

We had the same issue. Our visa was denied 1st time but then we got approved the second time.  Denial of visa is not the end of the world. The CO is trying to protect US citizen. But if your relationship is true, then keep up with the fight.

I can tell you this fight ain't going to be easy or cheap. We fought hard and we spent tons of money on a lawyer (even thou lawyer knew jack) we hired them just so USCIS and CO know we have lawyered up. It was an expensive affair but hey for me she meant everything and I will do anything to make her happy.

DM me if you want to discuss in private. It would be great if a USC (your partner) would join the conversation so that he/she could write in proper English so that we do not have to guestimate or decode.

My interview was in january 2017 .. i have been waiting 14 MONTHS since the denial and till no no update !!

Everytime my husband contacted them ( uscis),they said that the case is active and under review !!! We also contacted the obudsman from 4 months to get help and till now he didnt assigned our case because they have an influx in case assistance requests !  Its depressing and not acceptable anymore  !!

Now its taking from 12 to 18 months or longer to get reaffirmation or to get a NOIR from uscis.

Uscis received my case in 4 april 2017

the reasons of the denial was : their is a problem with my record (my individual and family record state me as single instead of married !) despite of that we had a marriage certificate ,we didnt notice the mistake until the interview day ...it was not our fault , it was the lebanese government fault ! We tried to talk with the consular to not send the case back to usa but she refused !
