My wife is a USC and is petitioning for her mother who is married. She is not petitioning for her father. Basically, the parents are only still married because they are Catholic. Will there be a problem with the mother immigrating and leaving the husband behind?

Thanks for your replies.

You mentioned on your other thread that the financial burden will be with you, now this may seem silly but you would be amazed how many people who come on here have not thought through the consequences, hopefully you have this in hand.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
