It depends how you file and your field office. On line filling is a lot faster than paper filer. It took me 10 months from start to finish. NYC paper filer.

According to the USCIS processing times website, the Newark office is currently processing N-400 applications from April 2017. So if you just applied this month, probably around a year. (Although, if you applied online, it may be quicker.)

I don't have it handy but if you do a Google search for USCIS processing times it will come up.
