Hi Junies. I just want to share my POE experience. I had my POE in LAX March 1. Passing the immigration was easy for a K1 visa holder. The only question/s he asked me is the purpose of entry and if we had kids. Also, make sure you bring the yellow packet. I have spoken to a Cambodian under a spouse visa and she didn't have the yellow packet. I don't know why. The officer won't let her pass so she was escorted to the office. She was still tearing up when I left. I hope she was able to pass because she had a visa on her passport. The line for immigration was long and eventhough I had a 3-hour layover, I had to run from Terminal 1 to Terminal 6 for my flight to Dallas. I quickly went to the restroom, got my luggage, passed the Customs and dropped my luggage again. Haha I arrived at Terminal 6 five minutes before boarding time. I do not recommend having another connecting flight different from your point of entry! My fiancè trusts me a lot for him to buy me this ticket (much cheaper than a straight flight from an Asian country to the US) Haha but it was an experience. Lol.

LAX is an especially bad airport for transfers (even between two domestic flights) because all the terminals are separate and the connection buses are not frequent and outside the terminals. Most other U.S. airports have a much better transfer experience (somewhat similar to European airports). LAX is my home airport, so I'm fortunate to have never had a transfer there. :)

I hope this is the week. Thank you, I know how bittersweet it is to see another long timer get something. It will happen. I know it will happen soon. I got an email AND the app updated so just keep your eyes on those things.

So my fiancé checked  CEAC website for his passport it said it was sent out to DHL but when he checked at DHL they said that it wasn’t with them at the consulate but when he went down to DHL they said that they don’t have it. Turns out that the consulate still has his passport but it still says it was sent out on the website, so we are back to waiting.   Talk about emotional ride!

This part of our journey is now complete.  It's been long and we've had our share of anxiety.  Some of you have had it much harder than us....

We wish you all well on a successful completion.  This site and our June group has made the process much more bearable.  Thank you, all.

Well, it is back to reality for me. I went back to work yesterday after a 2.5 week vacay to the Phils. My fiance' is adjusting as well as can be expected to life in America. He says it is very different from the Phils, but he likes it so far. We haven't had a chance to slow down. My coworkers and friends have been dying to meet him and my family came into town this past weekend to meet him. I think he is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love. I don't think he realized just how many people care for him already here in America. We will go tomorrow to apply for his SSN and then the rest of the week will be relaxing...kinda. We have set a date for our wedding for April 14, so we are trying to get everything together as quick as possible. :) We are excited for what the future holds, but for now, rest would be nice. Continuing to pray for everyone else! I love seeing all of the movement that has been going on for Junies!

Thank you so much for sharing this.  You will have a lot of people interested in that part of the journey.  I am so happy for both of you.

If it makes you feel any better they are pretty fast after NOA2.  We are through Rio as well.  NOA2 date was 2/12 and we have her interview scheduled for April 10th already .

For those who have done the I-134 and gone to the interview:

Do I really need to write N/A in every single box that doesn't apply to me or can it be left blank?  It seems like I am going to spend more time doing that than adding the information that actually does apply.
