Hello,

My husband and I planned to file in January, and then February...but we finally made it now in March!

Married Jan. 2018

AOS packet mailed USPS Feb. 26 2018

AOS packet delivered March 1 2018

Looking forward to hearing from fellow March filers. Let's hope March is good month!

thread title says March 2017 ;) But, my wife and I married 14th Feb. Wanted to file in Feb, but we are sending our package of tomorrow!

 

I'm worried about the EAD form, apparently expired as of yesterday, but no new forms posted so I'm assuming it's ok to still use the one that's up right now?

Packaged was delivered this morning at 6am. Impressed with the speed of delivery. Now to keep an eye out for some sort of activity, probably from checks being cashed I assume from reading other peoples cases..

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

We sent out our documents on March 1st, 2018, and I got notification via text and email on March 14th, 2018. We'll be getting the notice of action soon. I've been so anxious while I was waiting to hear back from them. I'm so relieved that one thing is out of the way. Now onto the next.

03/14/2018 (Day 014) Received 4 e-mails & 4 text notifications (11:55 PM EST) (9 days after delivery)

03/23/2018 (Day 023) Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (for I-485 and I-765)

04/05/2018 (Day 036) Biometrics Appointment

04/13/2018 (Day 044) Fingerprint Review Was Completed

04/17/2018 (Day 048) Ready to schedule my case for an interview

05/10/2018 (Day 071) Request to have EAD case expedited (due to a job offer)

05/18/2018 (Day 079) Received letter from USCIS requesting a fax of proof of a pending job offer 

05/21/2018 (Day 082) Faxed a copy of job offer letter with the notice from USCIS

05/22/2018 (Day 083) Request to have case expedited was completed

06/04/2018 (Day 096) Received approval notice for EAD and AP. Website update Card was mailed to me (website update)

06/05/2018 (Day 097) Card was picked up by USPS and tracking number assigned

06/05/2018 (Day 099) Received EAD and AP combo card. Finally!!!

10/17/2018 (Day 231) Received to appear for interview notice by mail

11/08/2018 (Day 253) Interview Day. Website update "My Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed."

01/10/2019 (Day 316) Received I-130 Approval  notice in the mail (63 days after interview)

01/31/2019 (Day 337) Sent out I-765 Renewal Package via USPS

02/13/2019 (Day 350) Received one (I) text notification of EAD Renewal Package Receipt. Received EAD Renewal Receipt notice in the mail (180 day extension)

03/05/2019 (Day 370) Wrote to the Senator to help with my case (1 year after Case Receipt Date)

03/08/2019 (Day 373) Filed an online Case Inquiry (120 days after AOS Interview)

04/08/2019 (Day 404) Senator’s office replies with generic response from USCIS stating my case is still within normal processing times

06/07/2019 (Day 464)  Online case status tracker updates to say an RFE for my I-485 was mailed to me

06/22/2019 (Day 479) Sent an online e-request for not receiving RFE

07/24/2019 (Day 511) Sent another e-request for still not receiving RFE

08/12/2019 (Day 530) Called USCIS about not receiving RFE was told I should sign up for a myUSCIS account(which I already had but couldn’t access any documents). Asked to be connected to a Tier 2 official but was told they were all busy and couldn’t help me

09/04/2019 (Day 553) Called USCIS again about not receiving RFE. I was asked to fill out another request and if I still had issues I should call the next day and be connected to a Tier 2 official

09/05/2019 (Day 554) Called USCIS about still having issues with not receiving my RFE and was put on call queue for a Tier 2 official; who called me back. I was informed that there must have been an administrative error from the local Baltimore office because he sees the RFE on file (which had expired on September 2nd) so he would put in a request to the office to review it.

09/12/2019 (Day 561) Received a letter from USCIS(dated Sept 9th) that I had contacted them as a result of an administrative error but attached was the RFE(with an expiration date of Sept 2nd 2019). RFE was requesting my original birth certificate.

09/13/2019 (Day 562) Sent a copy of my original birth certificate via FedEx along with the USCIS letter about the error and the RFE

09/16/2019 (Day 565) Got delivery report from FedEx that package was signed for this morning at 10:02am 

09/20/2019 (Day 569) Got another RFE (with an expiration date of December 13th 2019) requesting for original birth certificate  

09/21/2019 (Day 570) Sent another copy of my original birth certificate via FedEx along with the RFE 

09/21/2019 (Day 572) Got delivery report from FedEx that package was signed for this morning at 8:27am 

09/26/2019 (Day 575) Got status update that New Card Is Being Produced

09/28/2019 (Day 577) Got status update that Case has been approved and an approval notice has been mailed to me 

10/01/2019 (Day 580) Got status update that Card was mailed to me

10/02/2019 (Day 581) Got status update that Card was picked up by USPS + tracking information

10/03/2019 (Day 582) Green Card was delivered today (329 days after interview)

Good luck! Yeah, we were anxious as it seemed and felt like our package hadn't been received or anything. The email/texts last night was relaxing, now officially we are on for the waiting game.

Re summited our package on March 13, 2018 and got delivered on March 15. Sent our first one out in Feb. but got rejected because of wrong payment amount. Waiting now for the email. 

02-15-18= Sent AOS

02-19-18= AOS Delivered

03-12-18= Package sent back to us for wrong payment

03-13-18= Resent AOS

03-22-18= Package sent back for an expired form

03-23-18= Resent AOS

03-26-18= AOS Delivered

04-04-18= Text/Email received

04-09-18= NOA received in the mail

04-13-18= Biometrics letter received in the mail

04-26-18= Notification of RFE sent to us

04-27-18= Biometrics Appointment

05-03-18= Sent back RFE 

05-09-18= RFE Received (working on case again)

09-01-18= New Card on order!

09-08-18= Received Combo Card!

09-11-18= Ready to be Scheduled for Interview

Thanks! Yea, it got me worried the first time when I never received a email stating that ours was opened and the checks never got cashed. Think we got everything right now so it should be smooth sailing now (fingers crossed)

We are March 2018 AOS filers.  Our package was delivered on March 1 at noon. Today is March 16 and no word at all. No check has been cashed. I called USCIS, but they don't even have my spouse's name in their system. I am so worried.  The guy on the phone said it sounded like perhaps we just submitted a lot of documents and it is taking a long time for them to scan. Does this sound right?  Is there anyone else who had their package delivered in March who has received the e-notification or NOA one yet?
