GC Mailing address

Hi All,

 

Guys I understand from your answers that the mailing address may be changed right until the day of the first entry. What I want to know is whether at the point of completing the DS 260 it is an absolute requirement that the address given as the mailing address be US based? Because unfortunately for me I don't have any friends or relatives in the US, I intend to settle in Boston, MA so I am confident that closer to my travel day I would have secured a place to stay so I will be able to change the  mailing address on my day of arrival to where ill be staying. If the answer to my question is yes, can anyone here assist me with one just for purposes of the DS 260?

For the purposes of the DS260 you can put down a hotel or something, and change it when you enter.

what @SusieQQQ said, plus, the GC will usually take 4-6 weeks to be produced and delivered, so make sure the address you state at port of entry, you have access to for up to 2 months after your entry (it can take longer so to be on the safe side, make sure you have access to the address up to 6 months after your entry).
