Hello everyone again,

I know I have to send my birth certificate in english for the AOS, but I don't know exactly how to do it. Does have to be translate from the consulate in Italy or anyone can do it? I tried to call the embassy but of course, no answer. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

The translation can be done by anyone who can attest to be fluent in both languages and signs a statement as such.  You submit both the foreign language document accompanied by the translation

YMMV

We used the Translation and Interpretation Network, part of Catholic Charities in Fort Worth, Texas.  They charged $75.00 to provide 2 translations.  Everything was done over the phone and via email.  Here's their phone number: 817-289-0050.  Of course, if you know someone who speaks the language on your birth certificate you  can have him/her do the translation and include the certification.  I've included the certification provided by  TIN.  If the translator is not a Notary Public, there is no need for the notary seal.

Good luck!
