Hi lilit,

I haven't been following how things evolved. Can you tell me what exactly that means? Have things started to speed up at USCIS?

Thanks!

Cologne is way better ! lol

she is close to San Antonio. I will be in Florida so awesome !! where will you be in FL... :D

I only drove through it once, I guess I only saw the best parts, hahaha :D

But you're right, Cologne is awesome, I am going to miss it.

I will be in El Paso, TX first, that's about 9 hours driving from San Antonio. Florida will most likely be Coral Springs for us.

Yes, hi! From what I have seen, although the approvals have started later (189/190 days) for July and August, they have been arriving at a much faster rate. What I gather from that is that they have been working much more efficiently for July than they did for June and this resulted in a greater amount of approvals in a shorter time=they will finish July must faster than June and will be able to get started on September much faster than they did with August. For example, they started July well into the 2nd week of January while August they started just a couple of days into February. Obviously, my hopeful prediction of a POE in September/October (for me), October/November (for you guys) rests on USCIS keeping up this rate of approvals...or hopefully increasing it. NVC has also gone back to normal 2/3 weeks, sometimes even less. In early January people were waiting 4-6 weeks for USCIS to send their approvals to the NVC but now the process is moving in lightning speed after NOA2.

Great, thank you for that explanation. If I wanted to follow-up on that and check how the figures develop from now on into the year, where exactly would I have to look?

I am checking the processing times here http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical, is that also where you get your data from?

And then also when you say

I mostly look at posts of the scanners and the discussions that happen in the other months' threads, especially June/July/August which are the "active" ones now. Its been very helpful to do that, I've only been a member for a month but I've learned so much about the process through reading other people's experience. I recommend you look through the other threads, that way you're prepared for when the NOA2 comes and also keep tabs on the details of the speed/process of the approvals.

No problem! Just to give you a heads up, I didn't put medical for the signature since in Italy it's automatically scheduled the day before the interview--so it's not a particularly helpful date for me. Also the NOA1 and I-129F Date received are the same thing, its the date received that counts. I just have NOA1 text message received to differentiate the day I got the notification, but that's not the date that VJ or USCIS use as your "NOA1 date".
