The interview is easy as long as you have what is listed in the instructions letter and have a genuine relationship.     Remember .. smile and look the CO in the eyes when speaking.

Noted @Hank_ :) thanks, please do pray for my interview as well :).   by the way do I need to bring the CD of my medical during the interview?

Nope   You keep the CD and the DS-3025 (vaccination record)

@Hank_ can you recommend a hotel which is near in us embassy because we're thinking to just rent a hotel so I will not be late on my schedule.

There is a pinned topic at the top regarding hotels.  Plus I am sure other will post the experiences.

As you may see the Bayview and La Corona are just across the street.    There are a fair number within a block or so.

There are many hotels in or near the USEM.  You should have no issue finding one. Just go to few and check them out and find the one you like, and all of those are easy walking distance.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

I think you wrote this earlier in this thread Hank:

"Additional Information
Income is based upon GROSS income  - USEM is not known to accept assets for qualifying."

We'll be doing the interview ~ March-April (NOA2 should come through any day now).

I work as an RN sub-specialist and my past few years of earnings have been excellent.  Last August my job ended (but last years income was well in excess of what is required) and instead of looking for new work I enrolled in a ADN to BSN (Associates Nursing to Bachelor's of Nursing) which is becoming more and more a necessity in nursing these days.  So I have no income right now though I have plenty of assets and could even opt for taking social security though I would prefer not to.  The comment: "USEM is not known to accept assets for qualifying" scares me.

Do I need to stop my studies and find a job?  I could do this, but would rather not.

Thanks

Really?  A hotel in the Embassy?

YMMV

:D

I only have a 3rd grade education

I have stayed at many of those hotels in the past. I love the Ermita area for the night life.  They have a Cowboy Grill in Ermita that is huge Country Western theme bar and it's huge even by Texas standards and it has nice cold A/C. I also will hit the Video K bars around 1 am and stay there till around 4 a.m.  Fun times in Ermita area, check it out if you have time.

Hotel Sago, Hotel Soriette which is like right next door to the St. Lukes Medical Center.  I tend to end up at EuroTel off Pedro Gil street the most often. Free night stay after 3 nights and a fairly decent breakfast buffet.

Thanks

USEM requests a signed I-134, and copies of your MOST RECENT tax return - which before April 15th of this year is the 2016 return, and your W-2.   The I-134 is not a binding document (the I-864 is a binding document ;) )

Since 2014 USEM has been very sporadic even requesting support evidence with the K-1 VISA, meaning they do not ask for it at all many times.  Still better to be prepared (having the requested documents listed above ;)   )

I have yet to bump into anyone that has been able to use assets to cover shortages with income at USEM.

Once in the USA, married and processing AOS (Adjustment of Status) USCIS does accept assets with the I-864 .

.. be prepared with the required documents    B-)

I do understand not wanting to start SS too soon.

Hi everyone:

I will be flying out and accompanying my fiancee during her medical and interview, when we schedule them sometime in March; how close together can the medical and interview be scheduled, to make sure the embassy receives her medical results?

The interview can be as early as the next day as she will hand carry the medical records to the interview and hand them over to the CO whereby the CO will include it to the applicants file.  They will use it to adjudicate the applicant for her visa along with all the other information that was submitted at the interview and over time.

I 2nd Greenbaum.  There is little reason for waiting after the medical now that SLEC has the applicant carry the sealed envelope with the medical file.

@Hank_ finally I've received my fiancé documents yesterday now I can Schedule my interview.   My question are:

1) what if my noa2 priority date is blank what will I need to put in the priority field in filling-out the schedule Form online?

2) is the receipt number is the deposit fee I've pay in bpi?

3) I can choose what date for my interview right?

Thanks again ☺

Priority Date is not used with the K-1 visa.   You can put any date in there.   (officially the Priority Date is the received date from the NOA1)

Receipt number when scheduling your interview. That is the deposit slip number from paying the fee at BPI           (some times the receipt number is a different number printed on the deposit slip, but normally it is the deposit slip number)

Yes you can choose any open date showing on the calendar
