Hello Every One....

Now my situation is changed and i am going to plan for applying in may or june 2018. so i want to ask few things that if i say im engaged so is it necessary to take pics of fiance or give any proof like wedding. doing job as a office assistant since 9 years nd reason for visit is to celebrate eid  and meet with my sis as i did not meet her more than 6 years and mother(as my mother is there green card holder and living in usa for the last 8 months) and take back her to pakistan with me  as she cant do a long journey being a old age lady (60 age) and also i want to visit some us places like statue of liberty Manhattan , central park, times square etc duration of stay 12 days.

nd reason of come back is i am taking back my mother im doing job nd live with my father and uncle.

I have seen many letters on google for request of visa to US Consulates in which the person explain reason of stay and reason of come back to his country ... what u guys say if i take this letter with my self and give it to consulate officer at the time of interview when he ask y do you want to go to us than i will hand over this request letter to him.

waiting for your response.

Be prepared to answer why you lied about your job on your previous application too...

If your Mother has major medical issue then a letter from a Doctor explaining her issues may or may not help.

Are you engaged?

Misrepresenting employment status in the past will not help during future visa attempts.

A good many number of pakistani's on tourist visas do not return back once in the US. Visa officers know this, and could count against you.

High blood pressure (which is a common symptom/resulting effect of diabetes), as well as being a diabetic would probably not be seen as a reason of "unable to travel by herself" but I suppose you could try with proof from the doctor if you feel this is the case.   More than just a prescription from the doctor is needed, though.  They will want to see hospital records/medical evidence supporting the claim of her inability to travel.

Only you know the answer to that question.  Tell the absolute truth as to why you didn't disclose this earlier.   Having a job in the home country normally raises one's chances of being approved for a visa, so CO will be curious why you previously stated you were unemployed.

Sometimes travel history can help, because it shows the person returned to their home country afterwards.   Sometimes it depends on which countries were visited.  Sometimes the CO won't care about whether one has traveled before out of their country or not.

The biggest issue facing you in the interview will probably be your previous application information not being the absolute truth, not your travel history.

Dont worry about the past visa refusals, on the form DS-160 my fiance said yes she was refused before on tourist visa.

Was no problem for our K-1 visa to be approved.

The question is rather simple, were you ever rejected before? If you were the answer to the question is clear, and the officer ALREADY knows the answer anyway!

Yes, that's normal when filing for a K-1 because a K-1 permits immigrant intent. The past refusal (likely due to immigrant intent) had no bearing on it.

The OP here is trying for a tourist visa again, in which a recent refusal holds weight unless you can show a material change in circumstances.

But yes, the end result is the same....just answer the question truthfully on the DS-160.

Reminds me of a CO who told her story about arriving at a  new posting, so common for the usual suspects to book an appointment hoping the newbie will issue them a one way visitor visa.

So this guy comes in, has multiple prior applications, different jobs, different addresses etc etc.

So he is refused and is all indigent and his past discrepancies are mentioned, takes umbrage and says well this time I am telling the truth!

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You can take anything you feel might help with convincing the CO of your reasons for returning to your home  country afterwards but remember that the CO is not obligated to look at anything you bring during the interview (this is largely due to the CO not being able to verify any documents you bring on-the-spot as being authentic).  Some bring employment letters, etc. but again keep in mind that the CO may not look at any of that as their decision is based on the DS-160 and whatever answers you give during the interview.

The CO will be more interested in your reasons for going back home after your trip to the US----not so much interested in your reasons for wanting to visit.

The CO might also be curious about how your past tourist visa application was based on needing to escort your US-based mother back to Pakistan....and now it's based on needing to escort your USC nephew to the States....so it may raise some eyebrows with the CO in terms of why his mother cannot escort him to the US herself, since she is a LPR.  And maybe why she left him in Pakistan since April with no plans on how to get him back to the States to start school (going by your other thread)  In all honesty, it can look to the CO as contrived reasons to travel to the USA.

Then, of course, there is also the issue of the past application details not matching the details on this new application---specifically the employment info that you said you "hid" before on the previous DS-160.
