We also did the same you did and you and us have same dates and center.. our check was cashed this morning. Was yours cashed too?

No, it hasn't posted to our checking account yet....but our bank usually waits until the next day before it posts, so hopefully I'll see something tomorrow morning. LOL they cash our checks with lightning speed but adjudicate our petitions ever so slowly!!

Hopefully! 🤞🏻.. I know right?! 😄.. hopefully the waiting time and process won’t be such a pain as it has been for other people from other forums.. I checked the January 2017 forum and people from CSC hasn’t gotten approved yet, only some of the VSC has been... we just have to keep waiting positively and for the best 🤞🏻

Hi, I will possibly be sending our application in January.  I'm debating on waiting for the W-2's to come in first so there will be two years of joint filing to show.

I was too, our package is already ready and our w2s were just distributed yesterday. And it might take another week again. And i just want to get over it already...so today we just went ahead and file with 2years of joint filing. I guess there’s nothing else to worry when you have a lot more evidence.

Hello all.  Submitted my I-751 on January 12

however the USPS tracking is crazy and doesn’t show arrival and it’s now 19th.  Kinda freakin out - the check was a cashiers check so I can’t easily know if cashed.  Why would it go to a totally different city???

Sent priority mail mail in their box - address as per USCIS site.

Any ideas :?

thanks to all that helped with organization !

we used preprinted tabs from amazon as someone posted before (thanks) and hole punched top and secured with ACCO fasteners

Hi January filers
We'll be joining the January party later next week.

Is there a place on this sub forum where I should direct specific questions? Don't want to clutter up this thread with questions if they are supposed to be asked elsewhere. Thanks!

Thank you so much!

I'm still trying to get my brain back into USCIS mode. It's been a wonderful (nearly) two years not waiting for something!

I came in on a K! and brought my daughter on a K2 visa with me. It looks like I can put her on my application form, according to the Guides and what I can find on the USCIS site, but they don't specify the age of a 'child' in this case.  She's 15 and will be 16 before the new GC's are processed.  Should she have her own form and fee? I thought about calling USCIS but .... ugh .... the memories of those calls :jest:

No extra form. Your daughter's status is derivative of your K1, so is her Adjustment of status. Put her on your form and make sure you pay the right amount of fees (including her biometrics).

And I know: it was wonderful not having to deal with USCIS for close to two years.
