What does "case pending" mean? (I-485)

Hi, everyone!

I filed for I-485 & I-765 at the beginning of February. On April 2, we were informed by email that our case had been transferred to CSC. On April 24, we got email that I-765 was approved,, which made us very happy.

However, today we got email that I-485 "This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred."

I am worried if it is a good sign, since no interview scheduled or any word of FBI name check. I am wondering if any one has the same experience and what to do with this situation. Someone told me the case transferred to CSC does not need interview, is it true?

Actually, because I am pregnant, my vaccination of MMR has not been done. Is it the reason that our case pending? How long will the "pending status" be?

Your case has been transferred to CSC and is now pending there. Pending just means that it is not approved yet. Im pretty sure CSC transferees dont go through an AOS interview.

I see several CSC transferees get this email in the same time frame as you. I am sure it does nto mean something is wrong, but I am curious too- do all CSC transferees get this pending message? We received the "its been transfered", but nothing since.

After filing and before being approved everyones status is pending - just means they are working on it yet and you are neither approved nor denied.

We are pending also. It just means that CSC has received the application from USCIS and has entered it into the system. (We had an Infopass meeting where this was discussed.)
