Guys, we were approved today, right before my Birthday. There’s happiness and joy pouring over the boards, and I want to remind you that everyone will experience the same, sooner or later. The wait is worth the suffering. Please keep the faith as we are all in the same boat, and if your love is truly strong you have 0 reasons to worry!

@John & Rose I’m praying for your approval this week, I keep my fingers crossed too. You deserve this approval and I’m sure your test is coming to an end🤞🏻

@Tony and Tillie I enjoy looking at your pic as you guys are radiating with happiness. I’m sure you have your approval in your mailbox and congratulations.

Wanted to give you guys a heads up that if you plan on calling the USCIS call center tomorrow they may be closed since we’re expecting another snowstorm on the east coast!

where is the call center? doesn't sound too bad for now...

"East: Most locations in the East should see light snow accumulations of 3 inches or less. However, a swath of New England from northwestern Connecticut to coastal Maine, as well as the Hudson Valley north of New York City, could see over 6 inches of snow through Wednesday night."

I’m not 100% sure where on the east coast so would depend where they’re located.. but I received something from USCIS about 30 mins ago saying there may be call delays due to inclement weather. Hopefully there isn’t any issues tho!

I started calling 2 weeks after now its over 5 weeks and still not received by nvc

I missed doing the midday scan - lost track of time from my own excitement, so I apologise. I'll have an end of day scan for you all as usual though in approx 4-5 hours from now :-)

Seems like 50 days is about average for NVC to receive.  But the tend seems positive over the last month.⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I never called USCIS once while waiting.... And I was approved pretty fast relative to others here. 

 

I'm gonna stick to my guns and wait 50 days before bugging them....I just am suspicious that they may keep a list of callers and delay them more if they feel like it

InEngland, as soon as I get that NVC case number, I can have the medical pretty much next day, definitely within a week, and interview 5 days after that...

 

Hoping that a stroke of luck (and a persistent fiancé) can get the NVC number before the end of Jan, and then I can fly back with him at end of Feb... will probably be a little after, like, a week or two, but it's nice to have hope again

same here after nvc if if everything goes normal I can even get to my poe in 2 weeks (1 week for medical and interview, 4 days for them to send the visa)

I was told we had to wait about a month for the embassy to receive a "packet from NVC"  and we should schedule the interview a month out...is that bogus?
