I got through earlier in the morning when they opened 3 times one hour apart each and they said their systems were down every time but that they would answer any other questions I had. I told him I just wanted to know my case number and he said oh that’s the one thing I can’t answer because the systems are down. I haven’t called back since. My guess is their systems are still down if you’re getting that recording to call later.

The call went through 30 minutes ago and they told me that my case was received, they gave it a number and it will be sent to my embassy next week.

I checked my case number on ceac and it says at NVC

how long did it take to change the status

Ours was received by the consulate on the 16th (today) as well.

I see on your timeline that you also received packet 3 today. Is it an email? From whom? What is in it?

Thanks.

I don't know I am not there to see. Our case and file was front loaded so most information that they request they will already have. She also got a phone call from the embassy for the email address or to check if correct email I think.

Packet 3 is emailed.

We did not get any calls or emails from the consulate. We already scheduled the interview. Really struggling to understand what the Packet 3 is and whether I should worry that we did not get one.

The following instructions do not mention any packets.

That is what I believe to be in packet 3 but since mine was front loaded some of the information may be left out. But generally what is required. My tax records, financials etc was included with the original filing and has a 1 year validity. I can't ask right now what exactly was requested but I know the things mentioned are going to be on hand as well as a updated pay stub just in case they ask. Hope they don't ask for anything else. Attorney says to relax, I am over anxious it has been a long wait.

Great thank you. I had everything under control except the KEV-1 form.

Thanks to you we are not going to miss that one.

Let me know if Kyiv consulate requires anything emailed/sent to them before the interview (I do not believe they do).

DS-160 is confirmed. Police certificate, photos, other documents ready. MRV fee paid. Consular interview scheduled (medical --- two days before the interview).
