We will be sending our docs hopefully next week, we are just waiting for the marriage certificate!!

Did you guys sent duplicate of the same documents for EAD and Advance Parole? or just one of each with the I-485?

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS

We just got married on december 1, just want to know what exact files we need to send and where. People keep mentioning 3 things, ead (i-1765)  ap and aos (i-485).

What document is ap?

And how much really is it?

Do I  need to undergo biometrics again?

When can i get an ssn?

AP= Advanced Parole  Form - I 131, no cost if filed with form I-485 Adjustment of Status.

SSN you can get now or in the form I-765 ( EAD) there is a question asking if you want to be issued one.

Thanks mighty836!

Do you have an idea how long it would take for me to get an ssn or how much the ssn would cost?

I applied for a SSN last Tuesday and had it in the mail today (one week later). It is free to apply for it and the VJ info on it is very good: http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn.

Hi everyone!  My husband and I got married on December 1 and are going for his medical on Tuesday.  We hope to apply as soon as it's done.  Honestly, I can't believe we have to do it again since he just did it for his K1 barely a month ago!  Ok, couple questions....  Can you send one check for the entire amount?  What is the total if you are doing AOS, Green Card and Advanced Parole all at once?  Also, did you all do separate cover letters for each application and have them bundled together separately or did you do one cover letter for the entire package?
