I looked to see if this has been asked and answered but couldn't find anything even with a search.

We received an RFE after filing the AOS.

We filed in November 2016 and then got the RFE  and replied to it in March 2017.

Our status on the USCIS website shows they received it March 30, 2017 and they would begin working on it again.

I should add that we received her EAD and AP in July 2017.

My question is this;

When checking the website for processing times do we use the original filing date or the date they show for receiving the RFE information?

We don't want to get anxious if the date we should be looking for is the March one.

Thanks

your priority date is the date when your application was accepted ( original date not RFE receipt) - unfortunately there has been a trend they use where they send RFEs to clear their old backlogs and gain some time ( kinda like a parking lot) - considering that it has been almost 8 months since they received the RFE  - you may want to call them and speak to an L2 Officer - you will not harm your case by checking and verifying - I would probably call every 2 weeks ....
