Thats true, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see a concerted effort by the Republicans to find someone who can challenge Trump in the 2020 primaries.

Cause the 8 or so he  destroyed last time didnt count

Maybe they are talking about voting for her during the primary campaign, but of course we all know the DNC candidacy was bought and paid for by the Clinton's.

Possibly, but still why would you regret not voting for Trump if you like him now. Would he have won biglier with that extra vote.

I'm not saying people haven't changed who they supported, but people who regret the way they voted would be those who think voting a different way would have led to a different outcome. That is what regret is by definition.

That makes no sense. Trump won. Hillary lost. They would regret not voting for Trump if they like him and he lost. They would regret voting for Hillary if she won.

Put some more thought into your stories please.

Huh?  People can certainly regret not supporting or voting for someone, regardless of whether or not that person wins the election.  I realize this might be a complicated thought process for some people, so I'll gladly write a longer more detailed explanation if anyone needs it.

The Republican hierarchy don't like Trump much either, in case you haven't been paying attention. Yeah they fell in line, but let's not pretend they like it.

It's not that Trump wouldn't beat the challengers, it's that the party doesn't want him to. They talked about it this election.

Kind of like people claiming Hillary won the election because she claims to have won the popular vote, despite that not being the deciding factor on who actually gets elected as our President?

She doesn't claim to have won the popular vote. She did win the popular vote, by a significant margin.

Buyer's remorse among the Trump base is growing.

If you want to pretend or make up a story go ahead. Maybe McCain told you he actually likes Trump when you played golf with him?

Many have been very vocal, but you can't hear them from inside the echo chamber.

A quick google search shows the extent to which it's being discussed already. It's not unprecedented for an incumbent president to face a challenger in a primary, although it's rare for a challenger to actually win.  Much can change in 3 years obviously, but right now, it's hard to think of any one in the GOP who would even come close to defeating Trump.
