Bank Statement and Salary

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently working in a company and I'm going for MBA (F1 visa). My brother is going to sponsor me for my studies and his name is mentioned in the DS-160, I-20 (family funds) and the university system. His bank's statement is covering more than in the I-20. Do you think they will require my bank statement too? However, my bank statement is not good.  I asked the embassy they said, "bring your brothers bank statement only". My question is did anyone read/hear someone's experience that they required from him his bank statement too other than the sponsor bank statement in the interview?

Also, the salary which I will mention (income) is good but not high. Do you think it will have an impact? My company offered me a higher position once I return with Master Degree and they will give me a letter for that to show it to the embassy.

Best Regards
