Question

we were reaffirmed

At our reaffirmation interview, the CO took my husbands passport and said you’re approved pending some “research”.   Asked how long that would take the CO said 2 weeks may b longer.  Has anyone encountered this?  If so, how long did it take?

They want to research what your husband has told them at your interview. This could include visiting his home and talking with his neighbors to see if they know you are his wife.

Mainly I’m interested in timeframe.  I realize one persons experience doesn’t mean ours would b the same.   Has anyone experienced them coming to their home?  I just can’t see them doing that but what do I know.
