What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

12-14 months for CR 1 is way too long for me as well. I just want to go there and see him every day. Hence I chose K1. Hahaha

The K-1 is pushing 10 months now and with any minor delays you are talking 12 from NOA1 to POE.  As the CR visas are trending quicker it will only be a few months before they are identical.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I thought cr visa would be delayed as well? The the trend is quicker? I have known my fiance for 17 years, yes he is my first love. Now we are back together, I just can’t wait one more day to be with him.

Just sent mine in this evening! It's a huge sense of relief to have it out of my hands, but I know this next season of anticipation will kill me.
