Hello Members

Anyone who could guide me. I applied for my spouse visa under F2A category with priority date of 06/10/2016. My NVC case was completed on 10/17/2017. I called in NVC and they said that the final action date (10/15/2015)  is still not there so i will have to wait and keep looking at it. My spouse will  be taking interview in Canada. Anyone who had such experience or could tell us when to expect for an interview. Thank you

If your priority date is 6/10/2016 you have to wait until that date or later shows up under the country your spouse is from ( if she is from Canada then the All Chargeability column for your visa type

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes she is from Canada, but i am not sure how long will it be. Will it be 7 months, as i just called NVC and they told us that your case is complete, but we have to wait for the date. Thank you so much

It is whenever it is...you just need to keep checking. About 7 months sounds close, but those are just estimates. It does not advance one month every month....it could go slower or faster depending on how many others in front of you get a visa.

Hello,

My husband lives in the US, and I live in Canada. We finished submitting our documents to the NVC on October 11, 2017, and are currently waiting for our interview in Montreal as well. I also am wondering the timeline for waiting for an interview. I wish there was a way to find out an approximate wait time.

Best of luck!

Cara
