Hi there,

So I just registered me and my husband at the dv lottery 2019 but noticed that I changed the order of my husbands 2 last names (baby screaming and not focusing 100%).

Instead of let's say Smith Johnson (he got 2 last names) I entered Johnson Smith. I know I can correct it on the DS-260 form, if we've been blessed enough to be selected, but I still like to know if it would be a problem for us later on, like how picky are the CO? In the end both are his last names.

Thanks for any advice/ tips.

Technically it’s a disqualifying mistake as the names should be entered exactly as on the passport. If selected depending on country you may be lucky enough to find a lenient CO but it certainly wouldn’t be something to rely on.
