Why so quick to conclude it is over? Why immediately after citizenship? Why insist that I file for divorce? After 6 years of a happy marriage? No infidelity, no abuse.....NOTHING!!!

You're not answering anyone's questions, and not really explaining anything other than a few sporadic posts here and there that don't really mention your wife's immigration circumstances so it's hard to give you proper advice without more coherent details.

Perhaps if you explain the situation you are in more, we can help you.

Right now it sounds like you need a marriage advice board, not an immigration advice board...

Sounds like you need someone to talk to.  I suggest a counselor, pastor, etc... They would probably be better for you than an immigration forum.  I"m sorry this is happening to you.

FWIW she wants YOU to initiate the divorce because then the divorce is legal in the PI.  If SHE initiates then she also has do an annulment in the PI to get married again.

If she is insisting you file for divorce then this may very well be one hell of an elaborate plan.

She is now a US Citizen. Making you file will give her freedom and allow her to remarry a Filipino.

This story makes me doubt the infidelity part. Through her actions I wonder if she has someone waiting in the Philippines that you don't know about.

Did you marry in the US or Philippines?

If you married in the US did you do an ROM (Report of Marriage)?

It still doesn't mean that her ex didn't die. If this is assumed by you based on the questions in the quote then you have really nothing to go on.
She wants you to file because of PI divorce/annulment law and in the future she may want to get married again, doesn't mean the ex is alive at all
or that it was an elaborate scam. 6 years of marriage pretty much points to a good faith marriage. I think you are over analyzing this.
You don't have to divorce her but can separate and let her deal with the divorce or you divorce and move on.
Sitting down with her and asking her why she wants a divorce may help you understand it all better.

OP, if she is wants to divorce from you NOW that she is naturalized, it means you were scammed. I can not think of anything else. You were happy, but she had other plans it seems. Who knows? Maybe she wants to bring the other one from her country. Especially if YOU initiate the divorce. Hope the best for you.

OP, you're talking to the wrong people. You need to talk with your wife (especially if you want to save your marriage). And then find a friend to talk with who knows both you and your wife. And I know you want a reason to blame, but it may have absolutely nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with dissatisfaction building, feeling like her kids are at a place that she can move on, or maybe she now feels confident that she can make it in the US alone. Best of luck to you.

That is if she remarries in the Philippines. Sounds like she is now a US citizen so probably won’t be marrying in the Philippines.

If it were a scam she could have divorced a long time ago before naturalization and still been ok with  immigration.
She could have ROC'ed on her own with a divorce.

She wouldn't be the first to wait until after naturalization.

However, I think it is presumptuous on OP's part to doubt the Saudi Arabian death certificate.   If it exists, it is very likely real.

So she is a widow when you married her 6 years ago?

And now she naturalized and somehow she is asking you for a divorce?  And you think she wants to marry someone else?

What's the issue with fake documents?
