All you said is she wants you to file for divorce as plaintiff.
I have no idea what being a widow has to with anything so be clear in details and type a little more, we can't read between the lines or pull

As others have stated, a lot more and clearer information is needed before we can begin to make intelligent guesses as to what is really taking place. I feel bad for you. It seems like you really love your wife. This could have been a con all along or it could simply be a marriage running its unique natural course. Some last a lifetime and others don't. 

 

What can you do? If deep down you feel the marriage was genuine but you guys just grew apart or something, you should try your best to save your marriage just like any other spouse would. If you feel like this was a con all along and you have the proof to back it up, you can move on and try your best to regain some sense of happiness or you can try to get justice. Willful misrepresentation (lying about marital status and possibly committing marriage fraud) is grounds for revocation of citizenship. The burden of proof will be on you to convince the federal government and then the burden of proof will be on them in their attempt to get a conviction. They may not want to pursue a small fish so you would need boatloads of evidence and not just a few hunches.

Not sure who she wants a divorce from you or her other husband?  If it is from you and you are already married, you don't need a divorce as you weren't legally married. That's if she is married too someone else also.  I don't know how the law works where she is from but I am sure in the USA, you can only be married to one person at a time and any subsequent marriage is null and void.  I am sure if anyone else knows the legality of it all they will help more than I can.

 

Secondly, sorry if she wants a divorce from you,  if she does.  Why would you be the plantiff, if she wants a divorce from you or her other "ghost" husband?   It seems that she is a liar and although you say there has been no abuse, surely this is mental abuse? 

 

If you want fellow vjers to help as to what you should do next then please give more details, or come back and give more details when you are in a better emotional frame of mind.

   I think  there is some strange rule in the Philippines about who started the divorce when it happens outside of the country.  Hopefully someone regional will confirm the rules.

Immediately after being naturalized. I have never been happier in my life!! I just want to see where this is going. She has made her feelings known very strongly. The former husband died of complications from untreated diabetes. He was 40 years old a BS in Engineering. Passed away while doing contract work in Saudi Arabia.  She went from 0-150MPH within weeks. I want to know if anybody has experienced this. If this has all been planned, then she is a master. She claims to be a christian. You all want rock solid indications; well I just do not have any at this time.

Consider a case where a former Filipino citizen who was divorced abroad wants to remarry in the Philippines. This brings up peculiar problems because no divorce yet exists in the Philippines (outside of Sharia law). The foreign divorce will first need to be judicially recognized by a Philippine court.

Such a procedure makes reference to the second paragraph of Article 26 of the Family Code of the Philippines:

Where a marriage between a Filipino citizen and a foreigner is validly celebrated and a divorce is thereafter validly obtained abroad by the alien spouse capacitating him or her to remarry, the Filipino spouse shall have capacity to remarry under Philippine law.

It's presumable that he is dead if you've seen the original death certificate.

If he's still alive, and they are legally divorced, she wouldn't be able to petition for an ex-spouse to get a visa.  So no.

If she's a widow, and filed for divorce from you after entering into your marriage in good faith then there's really nothing to report her for.

In the  OP's other thread posted yesterday, he mentioned that his wife was naturalized (along with their minor daughter).  Their son is applying for naturalization next month.

Just answer this: What is making you think that he is not dead?

 

About Philippines and divorce. To clarify what the above poster copied and pasted. You are a USC. If you file for divorce (as plaintiff) she can get that recognized by the courts in the Philippines and then remarry (in the Philippines or to a Filipino citizen). If she files for divorce from you she can not have that recognized so in the Philippines government's eyes she is still married to you. I believe this only matters if:

A. You were married in the Philippines 

B. You did a ROM (Report of Marriage) with the Philippines government after being married in the US.

Those would be the only 2 ways the Philippines Government would have record of your marriage.

I can't figure out why else she would want a divorce and want you to be the one to file.

Yes I gathered she is naturalized from his very first post.  The question he hasn't answered is if she is now asking for a divorce?  

 

Either way it really isn't an immigration issue.

Why so quick to conclude it is over? Why immediately after citizenship? Why insist that I file for divorce? After 6 years of a happy marriage? No infidelity, no abuse.....NOTHING!!!
