It's nice to hear that we weren't the only ones disagreeing about seemingly insignificant things such as how to do the paperwork. My fiancé was definitely not thrilled when I told him to reference and sign all the supporting evidence, and wondered why we would even need a cover page at all. He is a sweetheart but I don't think the people at USCIS who handles X amount of applications each day appreciates even the slightest disorder...

Oh my, now im worried... we didnt reference & sign all our support evidence (we stuck stickies on bank statements showing i withdrew money in his town at an ATM) but for passport stamps, boarding passes etc. we didnt make references, i hope this doesnt cause us a set back

Oh I'm sorry, I definitely didn't mean to freak you out  I think you'll be fine - if you miss ticking any required boxes or attaching things that are specifically requested, they might reject you, but as far as I'm concerned they won't reject your application because your evidence is not referenced. I should add that when we were filling everything out, I (incorrectly) believed we might get an RFE if we didn't reference the evidence correctly - for example, attach the evidence of having met in the past two years to the specific part number/page number in the I-129F where it was requested, but an RFE is for MISSING evidence... And even if you did get an RFE for some reason, I've seen people have quite speedy processes anyway So absolutely don't worry about what I said, it sounds like you've been thorough with the evidence and I'm sure that's what counts in the end.

 

(I actually do think we might receive an RFE despite my effort to convince him what was needed haha... No one is perfect)

 ...we didn't reference and sign everything either, I think the evidence you have provided shows you guys have met and the fact you have a few shows you have a relationship. 

 

 Not sure if it's highly thought of on this site (apologizes if not) but we got a book from Nolo it's a bit out of date but it explained the process really well. 

If you buy online in a digital format you can download on a couple of devices and spend your evenings like we do ...face time with the nolo book in hand😂. Ahhh the romance!

Lol I had the same problems. We even had a disagreement about using those little post it flags to label each section. I had to do the cover letter though. He didn't see it as necessary 😂

Congrats Mg! To everyone here, there's quite the backlog this year compared to the previous years so we're all in for quite the wait but I'm sure we'll all get through this soon enough. Let's all keep hoping for no RFEs
