Previous  thread for I129F April filers has become pretty large thread so in order to reduce server loads admin closed that previous thread. I created this as part 2 of that same thread.

My NOA2 says:

 

Notice Type: Approval Notice

Valid from 09/04/2017 to 01/03/2018

 

Is this saying I have to have the interview done by 1/3/18?  Would I be able to push interview further out if necessary?

Generally saying yes ,it says  u have to take interview within that time period but they would automatically extend it if it is the fault of the Consulate to not to schedule an appointment in time but if you really need extension you can contact the embassy directly by email, telephone or mail explaining the entire situation and why you need additional time. Be sure to include both names completely, the new case number and contact information. The embassy officials are usually pretty good about giving extensions.Extensions are common as the foreign individual may have circumstances requiring longer periods than the visa may allow, such as finishing college. The main thing is to make sure you are completely prepared and that the extension is for a valid reason. Also ,I  think there is a form to extend the time -->Request to Extend Approval of I-129f,

Yes you definitely need a picture together to prove you've in fact met. Along with boarding pass and passport stamp, I think that would be sufficient  evidence. But no, a boarding pass alone will not be enough to prove you've met in person

I just got my passaport like 3 months ago  and i would go with my parents who are from the same ranch as he is from indo have tons of poctures i have actually lived with him a year in mexico but ni proof either in mexico its so diffirent theirs no bills ! Nothing !

My suggestion would be to reach out to others that K1 for Mexico and see what they have done for proof of meeting and relationship.

Well 30 days our case sat at NVC and finally I saw "In Transit". So glad that our case is finally on its way to the Consulate. On yesterday I called NVC to check the status of our case and the young lady said that it was undergoing 'necessary administrative processing'. I asked for more details as far a time frame is concerned and she said she did not have that information. Then I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. She placed me on hold for about 3 minutes and returned to the phone to connect me to a supervisor/manager. I inquired about our case and why it's been at NVC for over a month for a K1 petition. I stated that I noticed that some cases have left NVC within 2 days. I also said I was concerned that our case would not make it to the consulate in time for the already scheduled interview. The young man then checked our case and informed me that administrative processing was complete on our case and everything looks good. He further explained that some case are reviewed in detail to make sure all information is accurate. Our case was signed off on yesterday and in transit today.  I'm thankful that I called, because I believe it helped our case to come out of the NVC blackhole and move forward. Next step is the "Ready" status and then on to the interview next month. Congratulations to everyone for your progress and success. Best of luck to everyone still in the process!

So my medical was done last Tuesday and I got the result in the afternoon. I passed lol.

I might have the interview on OCT 5th that's the latest appointment showing. I have to check first and update y'all
