Well, I am feeling a little silly right now. But also ecstatic because I just got a notification from the app saying that the card has been ordered!!!

Thank you all again!! That was resolved so quickly, I almost don't believe it.

Anyway, I'm glad I posted this, for future folks who might stumble upon it. My advice is be confident and prepared for your interview, but do not expect the interview to be easy just because you are in love and feel your case looks fine. Be prepared to have to talk about difficult personal issues that you might feel shouldn't have anything to do with your marriage. Try not to take rudeness or aggression personally and if your IO is making you uncomfortable, just breathe, try to stay calm and present, and remember that it is only a tactic. Cheers everyone, I wish you all success and happiness. :luv:

Thanks for sharing your experience and a BIG CONGRATS to you and your husband!!! :)

As for your experience, I do believe they are kind of sick of their jobs... imagine how many interview they do everyday but they shouldn't put the blame on us.

Yesterday I just called USCIS to follow up on my case. The very first officer was very rude cos my spouse said something while we were on the phone call. I said, I'm sorry about that, that's my wife (petitioner).

IO: It doesnt matter who that is but if I hear another word from her I will hang up.

My wife flipped out. saying. I WANT TO TALK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR!!!!

Then she hang up.

The 2nd officer was very nice, calm and patient and I thank her after she helped me.. and she apologized about the attitude of her co-worker. I thank her for that for being so helpful.

Given my experience. That woman just had a bad day too but it's just unfair to be treated like that.

CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!

No need to feel silly -- you expressed what you felt, and you did a really nice job under the anguishing circumstances.

Now, begin collecting information for Removing Conditions!  Starting now and throughout the next ~2 years, take everything that indicates the financial and personal merging of your lives, and throw it into a box.  Come ROC time, you'll have more than enough evidence to choose from.

Some of the best possible evidence is Wills, medical & general Powers of Attorney, HIPAA designations, and similar documents.  They're even more valuable to have in "life."  Get going on those now, and you'll be way ahead of the game.

Congrats!  I will also echo what @TBoneTX next two years less 90 days (from the date of the eventual 2 year GC expiration) will fly by.  Make sure you start collecting evidence for the ROC in a file so you will have it when the time comes!
