CEAC says Issued. When will visa be received?

FINALLY, after 4 long years, my husband has been issued a visa. I think everything was completed on September 19 but we haven’t received any contact from the embassy. When does Casablanca typically contact individuals about picking up their visas and how?

Congratulations first of all! I've been following your posts here on VJ and was really hoping his visa would be approved soon. 

 

He will need to register with Aramex to track his passport. https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/SiteRegister?country=Morocco&language=en_US

My husband's visa interview was on a Monday and he picked up his visa later that week on Friday.

Thank you for responding. I double checked on there last night after we checked CEAC for the first time in a week and I think the only 2 places you can select are Rabat and Casablanca and we selected Casablanca. I’m nervous that he hasn’t heard anything about pickup times since it’s been a week. I’m scared to get too excited before he has his passport in hand and we aren’t telling anyone until he does! 😩

but all these things end now 👏 just call Aramex and they tell u about ur status

We waited 3 1/3 months. I’m going to tell him to call Aramex ASAP. I wish they’d stop playing games and issue everyone their visas!

Did they ask him to submit anything after the interview ? And did they give him 221(g) or any paper????

Congrats. The embassy wont contact you, aramax should contact you as soon as they have it. Ours took 5 days after we saw issued for it to be received.

You know what? You’re right. I told my husband to call about 2 days ago to see if Aramex had his visa because we never heard from the embassy and all other track your passport options didn’t seem to work or be accurate. When he called, they said it was there and he went to Casablanca last night to pick it up. He now has his visa in hand.

The down side is he has until December 1 to use it, but we’ll definitely do it before then.

Yeah, Imad had to call them since he was notified about his passport. He went to pick it up the next day.
