i am petitioning my parents to come but i am getting really anxious because one of the categories in this form is "US travel" question being "have you been refused a visa to US/refused to port of entry and so on" i answered NO to this question because i thought denial is different from refusal which now that i thought more about it its basically the same. My mom applied to come here 5 years ago but got denied. i called NVC and spoke to one of their representative and she said not to worry as mistakes happen and this is really a confusing question. is this something that i need to worry about? have you had the same experience?
