I left because of the abuse factor and having my mum’s bipolar Illness in mind. Yes I did overstay but would love to return to visit the country. I’ve got friends and family there. Having to apply for a visa through the embassy in London living in Manxhester would be painful.

and if I was issued new esta on the website and told the clearance officer at the airport the story would they admit me? I wonder. Last time I checked my entries into the United States online my last departure was dateless. Whether it was because I already overstayed or because the system didn’t catch me on departure god only knows.

i want to return heeeeellllp

Why do you want to return to an abusive husband? Or are you using your status as a spouse of a USC to gain a green card with no intention of maintaining a relationship with him? That's a dangerous game.

The VWP is a closed door to you now for the rest of your life. Whatever the reasons for overstay, whatever the reasons for abandoning the AOS, it's over.

Goodness, going to London from Manchester is a pain? Two hours on a train and a few stops on the Tube to be able to see your husband again is a pain? I'd walk to London from Manchester if that's what it took to be with my husband again. That's nothing compared to the journeys some have to make to get to the embassy. Our landlady's fiancé lives 120 miles from us just over the border in Canada and is in the K-1 process. He has to take a 5-hour flight to Montreal for his interview.
