You do not need an infopass because your extension letter and your state ID will suffice as long as they are valid.

You will need the actual green card aswell (along with the letter). The GC is also a primary ID so you don't really need your state ID - but hey why not :P

Ofc also a valid passport. (Unless there is some US-Canada travel no passport agreement, I'm not familiar with that. )

For direct travel from the 48 contiguous states to Alaska, you only need state ID - it's domestic travel - no need for green card, extension letter, or passport.

The OP mentioned entry and exit so I was under the impression that they would pass through Canada.

OP didn't mention Canada, though... I assumed a direct flight. If traveling through Canada, OP may also need a Canadian visa (and passport, green card, and letter).

If no Canada - then there is no "entry-exit", unless there is now state border control :D

A USC can visit Canada for tourism without visa.

LPRs can usually also visit Canada for tourism without visa - if they have valid I-551, or expired I-551 with I-797 letter (or various other documentation). Unlike USCs, though, LPRs need to apply for Canadian eTA if flying.
